Bead class

Today I went to the  bead store to sign up for a class to learn how to do round peyote stitch for hat bands.  I decided to stay and have them show me how to bead a flat peyote stitch bracelet.

It is easier than I thought and brought it home to finish and will go back to have them show me how to finish and put the togle closure on.  

I have several projects to do.  Rehupholster my dining room chairs, finish my scabord and now finish my bracelet.  Oh!  also start and finish the jewelry bags.

Tomorrow I am helping Terri paint furniture for her sewing/computer room.  It will be so nice when we finish.  pictures to follow. 

Chiricahua National Monument

Last Wed we went on a hike in the Chiricahua National Monument. Pictures attached. I was very beautiful and the only word that describes it is WOW!!! The hike was moderate on the way in and harder on the way out. What goes down must go back up:{

I would do it again, however. But at my pace. I reccommend the trip. You can see a lot without hiking, but you do get to see a lot more if you do take one of the many hikes.

First blog March 16,2009.  Not sure how to do this, but here goes.  I am Tucson, 

Az and have been here for ab out 5 months.  3 months to long.  I am leaving May 1st and then on to the eastern part of the country.  I have not been there yet and am anxious to get started.  

First i will be in Santa Fe for Tenzin's graduation, then on to Texas.
